Terms of Service
Effective Date: January 2, 2025
By booking or using any service provided by Mr. Grab Bar Guy (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1) Who We Are
Mr. Grab Bar Guy provides professional grab bar installation and bathroom safety solutions for homeowners, seniors, caregivers, and property managers. Our technicians follow ADA-aware installation principles and industry-standard safety practices.
2) Booking & Scheduling
- Appointments are requested through our online booking system.
- Same-day or next-day availability is not guaranteed.
- Arrival occurs within a scheduled window to allow for travel and preparation.
- An adult (18+) must be present during the entire appointment.
- If conditions are unsafe or access is not available, the visit may be rescheduled.
3) Scope of Work & Site Readiness
- You must ensure clear access to the installation area and remove fragile or obstructive items.
- Please disclose wall types (tile, fiberglass, drywall, masonry) and any possible hazards.
- Hidden conditions (pipes, wiring, inadequate blocking) may limit installation options, requiring adjustments for safety.
- Final grab bar placement may differ from the customer’s initial preference if safety requires it.
- We reserve the right to decline any installation that cannot meet safe structural load requirements.
4) Grab Bar Installation Specifics
- Anchoring: We use professional fasteners suited to the surface. Certain wall types may require specialized hardware or alternative placements.
- Tile / Hard Surfaces: Drilling through tile or stone carries a risk of cracking. We use industry-standard techniques, but zero cosmetic impact cannot be guaranteed.
- Customer-Supplied Hardware: Installed “as is.” No warranty is provided regarding suitability, safety, or manufacturer quality.
- Weight Loads: Grab bars are designed for stabilizing support. Misuse — such as pulling with full body weight, hanging, climbing, or using bars as ladder rungs — voids workmanship guarantees.
- Environmental Exposure: Bathrooms naturally produce moisture; corrosion or cosmetic changes over time are not workmanship defects.
5) Warranty
- Workmanship Guarantee: We guarantee that your grab bar was installed professionally and safely. If a workmanship-related issue arises, we will correct it within a reasonable follow-up window (typically 30 days).
- No Product Warranty: We do not warranty grab bars or hardware manufactured by others.
- Exclusions: Misuse, overloading, structural movement, environmental effects, or modifications by others are not covered.
6) Payment & Acceptance
- Payment is due at the completion of service unless otherwise stated.
- Special-order hardware may require a deposit.
- Payment constitutes acceptance that the service was completed as described, subject to any noted follow-up.
7) Changes, Add-Ons & Fees
- Any additional materials or labor will be reviewed and approved before work proceeds.
- Late cancellations, no-shows, or inaccessible jobsite conditions may incur a reasonable fee.
- Parking, access charges, tolls, or special building fees may be added when required.
8) Photos, Reviews & Testimonials
With your permission, technicians may photograph the finished installation for quality control or marketing use. By submitting a review, you grant us a non-exclusive right to display it. You may request removal at any time.
9) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- Bathroom Safety Disclaimer: Grab bars reduce risk but cannot eliminate slips, injuries, or falls. We are not liable for accidents, injuries, or deaths resulting from wet surfaces, misuse, or loss of balance.
- Structural Conditions: We are not responsible for hidden defects, rotted studs, plumbing interference, or pre-existing structural issues.
- No Implied Warranties: Services are provided “as is” except where explicitly stated.

Liability Cap:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to services shall not exceed:
- $1,000, OR
- the amount paid for the service — whichever is lower.
- Exclusions: We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Customer-Assisted Handling: If the customer chooses to assist in handling hardware, tools, or equipment, they assume all associated risks.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays caused by weather, illness, or events outside our control.
10) Disputes, Governing Law & Changes
- Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing formal legal action.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where the service is performed.
- If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect.
- We may update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.
